Congratulations to Don Bowles and Roush Racing

Hats off to Don Bowles and his "Coal Digger 6" on his first NMRA Hot Street victory at the NMRA Atco race. In only his second race with his Rousch powered small block, backed by an Ultimate converter, Don and his hard working crew have shown they are a force to be reckoned with in the Hot Street class in 2009. Best of luck the rest of the season.

Congratulations Robbie Blankenship

Congratulations go out to Robbie and his family and crew on their record breaking performance at the NMRA Nationals in Atco, Robbie clicked off consecutive passes of 8.64@155, 8.59@155 and then a stellar 8.58@156 for a new national record. Best of luck to Robbie and crew for their record breaking outing and look forward to more from the champ in 2009

Congratulations to Jeff Lawrence

Congrats go out to Jeff and Lawrence Race Engines for their great showing at the Division 1 season opening National Open at Atco Raceway with his low flying SS/GTAA small block Ford. Jeff was the #1 qualifier in Super Stock, and took home the runner up honors on race day! Great way to start the season and Ultimate wishes you a stellar 2009 season.

The Mattfolf/Soderling Race Team sets European Class Record

Kenneth Mattfolk and Kenneth Soderling's Small Block Chrysler powered 1965 Plymouth Valiant set both ends of the record in their Street Legal N/A Class in Finland, Europe. Their 9500 RPM screamer set the record at a 9.22@148MPH . The team will be making some upgrades over the long Finnish winter for an even faster 2009. Congrats to these European standouts!

GENE MONAHAN SETS NEW RECORD

Ultimate Converter Concepts would like to congratulate Gene on his record setting perfomance at the NHRA Division 1 Meet at Atco Raceway. Gene reset the J/SA record to a flying 11.37 ET. Geat job Gene on an outstanding season!!!

FLASH FROM THE PA DUTCH CLASSIC

With Jim Penta handling the driving chores, Gene's fuel injected Firebird sets the I/SA standard at the Pa Dutch Classic.

CONGRATS TO THE NMRA HOT STREET CHAMPION

Ultimate would like to send out our congratulations to Robbie Blankenship and Family on their hard earned and well deserved 2008 NMRA Hot Street World Championship! Robbie and crew have brought a new level of professionalism and work ethic to the series in their quest for the championship. With Robbies driving prowess and his crew's hard work, they were present in 5 final rounds, winning 2. Ultimate is honored to be part of your program in 2008 and look forward to helping you and your family in 2009.

Hats off to Raffe and the crew for his runner up effort in Super Stock at the IHRA North American Nationals held at Epping, N.H. Raffe's beautiful SS/LA Nova worked it's way through a very good Super Stock field to end up in the final with Joe Santangelo,jr. An outstanding job by Raffe and his whole crew!!!!!
